Some fools

One fool decided to make some stupid remarks. You know who I am talking about...the muslim stuff..racist stuff..you know who. But That was okay, he is a fool I didnt expect anything better from him. The problem is the other fools who think this fool is a cool fool so his foolishness ..well..is not foolish
I am talking about the social media folks, my facebook friends, neighbours, I mean folks that i have lost all respect to.I mean do people need to be told that they are talking out of their arses? Just because they are a lot of you fools supporting each other does not mean that you are not fools..Its more like a league of fools more than anything
You cant tell me that by segregating or supporting segregation of people does not make you a racist. Lets not forget in the US they are mass shootings everyday. Those folks who go out and cut people down just beacause they can are more dangerous to me than the muslims. I am more scared of my neighbours and friends than of any terrorist. With the rhetoric  that keeps coming out of them daily I am scared of them than ever before. Scared of all these fools it makes me shiver.

why?

I was just thinking of this problem that we seem to not be able to avoid lately
Religion
For thosands of years humans have looked to a superpower
Power way beyond our understanding to explain what humans cant explain
like rain
so well lets have the rain god
how about the sun
we can have one for that as well
Harvest
deseases
strength
um what else
well what happens when we die?
lets mh.....how about we wrap you up,kill your wife, gather all your belongings, make some servants to stay in the grave with you and oh..dont forget the food for when you come back to life. Then put all that in your tomb with you..
yup thanks ancient Egyptians now we get to dig all that and put in the mesiums for all to see
Then people thought well.. if one can farm and raise a family and trade then one god is probably capable of doing all that...
One God to all
Today most religion insist of one God
My problem comes
If God ,one God ..is so powerfull
He panishes the evil
and reward the good ones
Then why we have to fight for him?
Why do we fill its just to take ones life and say ..you know he said some shit about my God so he or she has to die?
Why do we fill the need to attack a place, blow everything into peaces and take as many lives as possible in the name of god
I seriuosly doubt God has anything to do with it.
If he did how come Bin Laden didn't blow himself up instead he went into hiding scared of meeting his god?
How come none of these so called leaders of jihads never blow themselves up but send twelve year old kids to do it?
If thats god will, then what isnt?

Like a Canvas

What happened to a person who talks to him/herself for a long time?
Don't look at me I have no F..n clue
I just thought I should ask that
I mean since I have no readers in this blog why write for someone to read while I will be the one reading it anyway.
But I guess I could pretend like there will be a lot of people reading it and wonder what the F** I am doing?
I think that way will be even more fun on my side
So I can just say anything and it wont be any different from me talking to myself and the length of my writing ..well.. it wont mean that is how long I spend talking to myself since I do a lot that.
You see..
the one thing I like about blogs is the fact that I am in charge of what I write
I make the rules
and then I break them so I can feel like a true bad ass
The way I spent my time talking to myself you would think I am a loner
in a way I am
I have a beutiful family
but as the days go by we find talking to each other is so much labor intensive we had rather turn on the tv and our mobile phones and not use neither of them but rather stare at the wall untill we fall asleep
a wee bit exagerated but you get the picture
I do have a few friends that I ignore
who needs friends right?
Here is the deal..
I am broke like lemons in the Pixar.. Cars
I only make enough to survive not a penny extra
When I get a phone call a friend its never about hi? how are you?
Its more about hey?...u wanna hang out?
a new restaurant just opened up, or a new club just opened
And I say well a new hole just opened up in my wallet
(not loud of course)
Then I have to come up with all these excuses to why I cant make it
At home is the same sh**t
Can we buy this? I saw this thing that can help us do this better, u should get it..
And I am like aaaa...like I am just learning my alphabets
Its almost like everytime i open my mouth to have a conversation I have to pay for it
why?
I do wish often that I had a little extra everymonth so I can take my kid to the zoo or to some kind of kids activity
But life is not fare
I break my back daily but the returns are not worth the years of schooling and student loans that have debted me
At the same time I have to count my blessings as I can put food on the table most of the time and have roof over my family
I know some people dont have all that so I can't be complaining too much
I mean that dude won lottery twice in two and a half years and I didnt even get hit by a lighting
That is what I call lucky
I win bills everymonth
then I take my winnings and brush them right into the shreader
(it makes beautiful music you should try it)
Last one I thought I was giving the debtors a finger by ignoring the bill
but they flipped them birds even better by sending me to the debt collector
those fools are annoying
damn it..I got to go

Hard to Understand this World

I found myself thinking of whats going on in the world and trying to make sense of it way too much lately, may be thats what it means to be a grownup? I dont know. I mean I woke yesterday to the news of Al Shabaab attack on a college in Kenya with 47 people reported killed. Today the number has gone up to almost 200. I mean imagine how many family will be going to church this sunday wondering how come God didn't save their loved ones instead of cellebrating the resuruction of Jesus.
I am not trying a religious piece but I cant ignore the fact that all these killings happened in the name of reliogion. It seems that a lot of bad things are done in the name of religion. I have heard a lot of muslims in the media saying Islam is about peace but I sure have a lot of problems believing that. It may be true the killings that are done in the name of islam dont represent the majority of the muslim but there must be something wrong in the teaching of this faith that make people feel that its okay to hunt other human for sport.
When you look at most of the problems facing the world today you will fing the influence of religion underlying them. Start with Somalia with the Al Shabaab who seems to be trying to bring chaos to more East African countries. They have successful carried attacks in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Staying in the continent, to the west we find Boka Haram in Nigeria. Like Al Shabaab, Boka Haram has recently carried attacks outside of Nigeria. Both of thse groups use religion to justfy the killings they carry out. But unlike Boka Haram who kill undescriminently, Al Shabaab take there time to separate the christians from muslim before the slaughter the christians.
In other war zones of the world like Syria and Iraq or even Mynmar religion is responsible for a lot of human sufferings. But do not for once think the West is immune in using religion as a way to guide ones behavior even when that behavior causes suffering. States of Indiana and Arkansas have just passed a legislation that will make discrimination legal. As much as they may try to say that is not what his new legislation is about but do we really need to be told. You can deny services on religious ground. What religious faith? I mean that automatically put the gay and lesbian in the cold. Now what if I say my religion does not allow me to be near a black person,or a white person, of an Indian? Are we not making steps backwards. I am sure these lawmakers had no idea what they were creating was just another form of discrimination. How would they have known while they couldnt even tell if they were at church or at a legislative assembly.

Remembering Mandela

One if the world greatest son went home yesterday. He was a remarkable man, with a great spirit. This man taught the world of how to change for the better and the power of forgiveness. It is easier to see how he changed South Africa, and forget how he did it. You have to look back in the early life of the man to see how much he himself had changed.
Nelson Mandela was once called a terrorist by Margaret Thatcher. The title he probably deserved depending on from what angle you are looking at. As it is so often one man terrorist is another man's hero. Madiba led an armed wing of ANC, and that's why Thatcher being who she was thought if him as a terrorist. But what a man had to do when he sees his people mowed down every day by the barrel of the gun? It was the armed struggle that got him life in prison.
Luckily for the Black South Africans, prison did not silence him. It has been said by various people who met him in prison of how much of a natural leader he was. He commanded respect even from the white prison guards. It was in prison that Mandela transformed himself. From the angry black man, to the courageous, patient, peaceful, and wise black leader. A man we now celebrate as the very best of human example.
For me personally, I will always remember standing on the side of the road for hours in Dar-es-salaam,Tanzania. Waiting patiently to catch a glimpse of him. There standing in the back of an open vehicle emerged two of the African best leaders side by side, mwl.Nyerere and Mandela. Waving at people. There were the two giants of African liberation struggles. This was the only time I saw Mandela in-person. I had met Nyerere quite a few times, and the two leaders were great friends.
What has stood out for me about Mandela was also the ability to say thanks without making too much noise about it. As a recognition of the country that sacrificed dearly for South Africa, the national anthem of SA changed and now it's similar to that of Tanzania. The relationship between TZ and SA changed from that of US and Russia during the cold war, to the best of friends. Today the two countries are not mingling in arguments about human rights but rather they share embassies in a lot of countries.
As the world take a step back and reflect on the life if this great human being. We all should take time to think, and ask ourselves, is there a Mandela in me?
